Camden loves to wiggle her tongue. She would stick her tongue out all the time, and then had her tongue tie clipped, and now she sticks it out even more! She just loves to taste that air.

Hate: Binkys. Pacifiers are for lesser mortals. When she is sad, a pacifier only makes her gag. Fortunately she is on the road to being a self-soother and a finger sucker. As far as breaking a finger sucking habit...that's safely in the future where I don't have to think about it for a long time.

New Tricks: Smiles and chatter began this month. Camden is our social baby with a strong desire to communicate!

She still likes being swaddled for her naps and nights, but her arms immediately snake their way out of a regular blanket. (The velcro swaddlers still keeps things under control at night.) At least she keeps sleeping. Witten was a champion sleep wiggler and Camden is a close second. She wiggles all around and gets her swaddler in a mess, but sometimes she wiggles her way into the crib slats, bumping her head, and wakes up sad. She'll get there. Not everyone can do a 360 degree rotate and remain asleep like Witten could.

I couldn't get my arms out, but at least I'll have my privacy during my nap.
