Looks like I am on the road again...
guess who finally renewed her license? and right before we leave for California too.
and, yes, there's a reason you can't see my driver's license photo in this picture. oy.

Cycle to Utopia
H. G. Wells once said "Cycle tracks will abound in Utopia." In that spirit, for FHE last night we biked up Provo Canyon, from University Parkway to Vivian Park--about 9.5 miles each way.
Awesome:

- Beautiful trees and waterfalls
- Feeling the burn!
- Chicken salad sandwiches
- Will not going full speed so we could bike side by side
- Crossing riding the Provo River Parkway off the bucket list

Not so Awesome:
- No padding on the seats. At all.
- Having a flat tire as we take the bike off the rack. Had to go back to the shop just before they closed for a new tube
- Gnats in my mouth, nose, and worst of all eyes

Temple Trip
There are a lot of temples in the West, and since Will and I plan on eventually being permanent East Coasters, we have decided to visit as many as possible during our last year of living in Utah. Our temple visits so far:
Funny story. This picture is not actually from the time we attended the Mount Timpanogos temple, but the time we rushed there to barely make it to the last session of the night, only to discover that it was closed for repairs. Yeah... The day we actually attended this temple, it was so windy that although we took pictures, I cannot bear to put those images of my hair on the internet.

First Place
Our apartment is small. And when I say small, I of course mean tiny. But, it's come a long way in about a month, from this:

Domestic Perfection
In the true spirit of the 1950s, I made a food item from scratch. Pizza dough. Okay, so not that exciting, but I did go pretty nuts when it rose properly after I let it sit--Will can attest. Two pizzas were made with this fine dough: so good I didn't have time to get pictures of the finished product.

Utah Reception
This post is pretty late--our Utah Reception was on May 19th--but here are a few pictures, courtesy of Will, taken just before it started

Thank You
I have used up all of my thank you notes for wedding gifts, and I'm going to have to get more! Will and I are both astounded and incredibly grateful for people's generosity. So, thank you.

One Month-Aversary
Will's 25th birthday also happened to be our one month anniversary of being married. And being the sweetheart he is, Will brought home these. Love him.

Quarter Century
On 5 June, Will turned 25 years old. Dude's old.
I had a plan to wake up a bit early and make breakfast before we both went to work, but I got called into work at 6am that morning. Fail. However, the birthday was still a big success: shepherd's pie for dinner, oreos for dessert, a new outfit, a beautiful new basketball, and a late night celebration with Nick [Will's twin] and Sara, and 25 post-its of why I love Will. It wasn't hard at all :)

Will's Version
Being the ...incredibly... tech savvy person that I am, it only took me a few weeks to learn how to pull photos off of our iPhones. But, now I have access to more honeymoon pictures. Will uses his phone for most photo occasions. So, enjoy!

Dave + Loriel
On Thursday Will and I were lucky enough to attend the sealing of one of Will's best friends to the most wonderful girl in the Salt Lake Temple. They are two of the most happy, loving people we know; and now they can be happily in love forever.
